OK I just want to know if my fuel system will be good for about 5 runs at the track at about 7-8psi. I have Star w/ a 1G SMIC. The fuel system is just the FMU w/12:1 disk, Walbro, and stock injectors. I plan on rewiring the pump relay too. I have 30lbs injectors but I don't have the real knowledge and time to sit and fool with the SAFC to run them, so I guess they will just sit. I'm getting an EBAY MBC to up the boost from the 5 lb WG spring. See anything I should do before I try to blow up the car?

To run 8 psi on stock injects, you will need around 110-120 psi of fuel. That is getting VERY close to the flow limits of the walboro pump. Just be sure to up your fuel pressure, and at least use a voltmeter to see what o2's you are getting at 8 psi at WOT. We need to run pretty rich at 8 psi to help avoid detonation. IMO, you may be just a bit short of fuel for that, but maybe not, you will just have to tune it to see. Be very careful though. you say you have 30lb injectors...put those in, and you wont need a SAFC. I dont think the FMU can adjust good enough for those injectors, not sure on that. IMO, get the SFMU, its much more versitile, esp with using larger injectors. With the larger injects, you can run lower fuel pressures, which is better for the walboro

I would have easily in a heartbeat bought the SFMU but I'm broke.
