well i replaced my fpr and my fuel pump and im not getting any fuel pressure what so ever. i dont hear my fuel pump chiming. like when i put it in the on slot of the ignition it used to chime then rise the pressure then turn on the car. but nowe no chime no nuthin. i tripple checked everything. what coul;d be wrong?! very very frustrated. thnx for any info.

Let me ask you this. Did you use a relay to run your new pump? You got the walboro intank right? IF you just wired it to the stock fuel pump wiring, then it would draw too much current for the stock wiring, and blow the stock fuse. You HAVE to use a relay on the new pump. If you need to know how to wire one up, just ask. The stock fuse should be under the fuse box in the engine bay.

well iv been runing the walbro for like 6 months with out a problem. but i replaced it today with a newer one. so how do you do this relay thing? and what kinda fuse is it? cuz i cant see any that are blown. what is it a 20, 30? thnx

hey dude, check your fuse for the hrc pump at the battary, and also check the stock fuel pump fuse. after that make sure the power line from battary to the relay is not crushed.. then check the relay to make sure its ok, then also make sure all wires are solder/connected right... so what your saying you cant hear the pretty hrc pump turn on when you turn your key right?.. sounds like a fuse, or a wires is no good...
if you cant get it running i might be able to stop by next week..maybe... depends how much exams i got..

it should be connected to the battery terminal for the hrc pump... the stock fuse i forgot where it is, either under the hood (main fuses) look at my pixs black cover is where the fuse is next to the bov or drivers side where a kick panel would go...

there ya go, right from the mods page.

the only problem i can see though is that you need the stock wire to provide power to the relay to switch it out of rest position and pass power through via the new wire. i would assume that this is just 12v that is triggered with the key in the "on" position, so you could probably tap a different wire to switch the relay other than the stock one on the fuel pump. that way you completely bypass all the stock wiring.

anyone know of a wire thats reads 12v+ only in the "on" position (not the "acc" position)?

omg! WTF is goin on? i checked ALL fuses none are broken, i rewired the fuel pump just like i should have and the fuel pump "activates" but no still no fuel pressure. i turn the key back and forth a few times and it "activates" each time. but then when i turn the car over it wont "activate" the next time i put it on the "on" position the pump wont activate. it will only start activating if i unplug the + wire going to the relay and disconect the - side of the bat then reconect + to the relay and reconect - to the bat. wtf is wrong? plz help. very frustrated! thnx

Wow. That sounds pretty screwed up. If all of your fuses are still good, maybe you shorted a wire. I suppose it could also be the pump. Does the old pump still work? If it still was still working, you can try hooking that up and see if it turns on. If it still works I'd say the new pump is screwed. If it doesn't, you may have a short in the wiring.

well, i am now getting pressure! what happened was that i reversed the wires going into the fuel pump under the fuel pump cover. dumb me. but now the car wont start?! POS i swear. i checked everything. i dont think im getting a signal to the injectors. cuz, call me stupid but i was desperate, i took out a spark plug and cranked the motor but didnt see any fuel cmin out. what can i check? thnx
