Do a compression test. If your numbes are above say 175-180 or so, I say go for it!
Have you kept up with your other maintenance items? (belts, hoses, regular oil changes...etc.)
If your compression is low and not up to the task ,do a rebuild first, then go turbo. It's never too late.

Thanks Jason,
Making appointment to have the valve guides replaced, as well as timeing belt, water pump, and belts replaced as well as ant other thing that may need to be fixed. I guess i'll have them do a compresion test also. Hope the figures come back good.
Now that the car is payed off I think it's time to give it some balls. Not looking for the fastest eclipse but one with some punch. I guess I can't go wrong with either the Star II or HRC.
Anybody know of a good shop in the Orlando, FL area that could help me out with the install of turbo?

check out the Racing Zone on Semoran Blvd(436) just a bit north of the 408. They have a garage in the back that I think they install stuff in. Id say to check it out.

I too live in orlando (off Alafaya near UCF). I know of a place that will install springs and struts. They did mine. I am not sure if they will install a turbo though. They mostly do honda work. You ever go out to the track in bithlo? You should go out there one friday or wednesday night and check it out. Its really fun. Nice to see some orlando guys on here!!!
