This post is for anyone who has turbocharged their RS or GS. Before I make any mods with my cars appearance, my major concern is with my engine. I want to turbocharge my 420a, but not sure how to go about it. Should I go with some of the kits out there like star performance or hahn racing and etc., or should I go with a "homemade" kit. I'd like to know what some of you guys did and what the cost was? If you have any dyno or track times that'd be nice too. Basically, I'd like to do this the most "inexpensive" way as possible, not the "cheapest". Make sense? Thanks for the help!

I paid $1600 for a used HRC stage one kit when I first got into this stuff. I have come a LONG way since. I think the new kits are around $2000 for a HRC kit. I ran a 14.3 @97 on 8 psi with a stage one kit plus the FMIC off a starion that was about $350 total. I should be seeing low 13's or high 12's once I get this thing running welll at 15-17 psi with the msd dis 2 installed.

Nope, there are tons, but most people aren't going to reply because this question has been answered again and again and again... needless to say, some people get a little frustrated answering the same question every other week ;) The answers that you are looking for are in the "Things We've Seen Before" section of the forum. Look around a bit and you will find all the info you could ever want. If any of your questions go unanswered after you have looked around there, then people will gladly help you out.
