30875, PT Turbon bolton to our head?? Posted by mike_d, Sep-11-02 05:48 AM
I was talking to the parts guy at chrysler (who was very surprised that i already knew the part numbers for the PT pistons, since they have only been available very recently) and he was telling me how the PT's turbo is incorporated into the manifold and sold as an assemble for pretty cheap. Anyone have any idea if this would work on our head or what kind of turbo it will be. I know this may be a little far fetched, but, if possible it could make for a nice custom turbo setup.

I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is differant and it's on the other side of the head.

the good thing about that turbo is that they are using a 16G compressor wheel, the bad thing abotu that turbo is it is for the "neon" head (the exhaust is in the back on the neon head). bolt pattern is the same 'though. dont' think about tryign to put it on the front of your car. doign that would place the turbo where your thermostat housing currently sits.
