Sorry if this has been asked before.I'm a little turbo iliterate, but I'm learining. The s16g, 20g, t3/t4 turbo sizes which one is the smallest and which one is the biggest?I'm sure the 20g is bigger than the S16g, but is it bigger or smaller than the t3/t4. Thanks.

I'm gonna disagree with you on that Jeff.

You really need to compare compressor maps and flow rates to find out which is "bigger". I think that a S20G would outflow a 40-trim t3/t4 and give better boost response as well. All sorts of factors go into how a turbo performs (size of the compressor&turbine wheel, size of the turbine housing, etc, etc...). I'm no expert by any means so I may be wrong, but in my opinion ...

Highest flowing
Last Super 16G
Middle t3/t4 4? trim (the trim that comes with the base star kit)
Best Super 20G

Best Boost Response
Last star's t3/t4
Middle Super 20G
Best Super 16G

All that being said, I'm NOT saying that a S20G will out flow a t3/t4. I'm almost positive that a 60-trim t3/t4 outflows a S20G. Ther are just too many versions of a t3/t4 to encompass them in a general t3/t4 statement.

Thanks for your responses! Now I'm getting a little more acquainted with turbos. I want to boost my car, but I need to know as much as possible before I do. I don't want to mess up my engine.

Go buy the book "Maximum Boost" By Corky Bell. It will teach you so much about turbos. I bought that book and learned so much from it. Just my $0.02.
