30198, Just got my FMU in today...runs greeat Posted by Semperboost, Aug-30-02 03:55 AM
I just got the FMU working today after replacing the fucked up fuel line that burst. So it's about a cool 75 and decide to test her out. What a difference 20 degrees makes. Boost feeeeels soo good especially when you are already spooled. I never went full throttle, only about 3/4 and hit 8psi with no boost controller for a quick second. I'm kinda scared to go WOT rite now =). I have the WG line to my manifold but this is crazy, I need to get a Joe P. MBC. Do you guys wrap your BC lines with something cuz mine gets all jacked up cuz it's rite near the manifold?? I can't believe what I missed out on when my FMU was not working and not supplying the the fuel. Now all my boost runs are to the last green on the A/F gauge. Anyone know what voltage that is on a reg. autometer A/F?? I know there is more power to be felt if I lean it out a bit. Another note during shifts my car doesn't seem to have eternal lag. Next up is the bored T/B and EGR removal - that'll help lean out the mixture. THanks for all the help guys
