Members Of the NER Group Buy there is new video up of the stage 2 kit in action just in case u havent checked ur email. Those guys seem to be having too much fun but it truly was good competition and should clear up any questions as to how the NER kits performs along side comparable turbo kits.

Yeah they are both running 8lbs of boost. the hrc kit is running a side mount and cved's is running the stage 2-f kit with front mount. But yeah I can't wait for my kit to get here.

but they never really could get a good run from that intersection... these ladies in accords kept pulling out from that minimall across the street. we shoulda put somebody over there to block that mall parking lot exit.

I would like to comment that I do not think those videos are in any way a proper representation of anything at all. One, they were blatant street racing. Not sure if I would want to put my companies name on something that means I would be taking credit for something so illegal, especially in Cali. Second, too far away and too many disclaimers by both sides about their cars. The only fair comparison will be when you take it to the track and get some real timeslips. That says a lot more than anything else.

I dont' see why everyone is so obsessed with comparing turbocharger systems on stock motors anyway. It is a fact that the motor mone stock wont' support over 240 or so wheel hp at any given time, so what is the big deal. if it is over turbo sizing, I am sure EVERYONE's system supplies a turbo that can support that ammount of power. the only time comparing turbo systems becomes relevant is when you want to see "how far you can take it" in which case Hahn Racecraft's stage 5 turbosystem still reigns supreme. all these NER vs HRC and HRC vs Star and Star vs NER and joe blow vs billy bob post are worthless waste of space. there. I said it.

They are checkin how well they compare at equal boost levels, theya rent trying to out-boost eachother. You know, one may spool faster giving you better times, etc....

I have stayed away from all the NER talk on the board. I am a NER groupbuy customer and my turbo should be here in a few weeks.

The impression I recieved from the videos was to show how the NER kit stood up to a tried and tested turbo system. Not how much better it is than one or another. There is no "best" kit. All kits including custom ones have their strengths and weaknesses.

I think NER is just looking for respect. And I'm sure once a few more people get their kits on and dyno'd it will come. All in due time.

Shaun, corbin and all the rest of the guys who build shit for our stock eclipses have nothing but respect from me, and do u really think honda drivers r gonna show u love just because its not legal to race on main street GEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZ. videos dont prove anything (steet racing) unless you got #s to back them up.. examples like track times, dyno #s etc... 1st of all i live in so cal and i dont want any dum ass recording me 'street racing' someone else... you know what the hell could happen if some 'law enforcement' saw this or heard about it?... this is another way to 'bring out the ner turbo kit' well ok... talk about it but dont compare it (with videos) we dont care... go get some #s..

unless you are trying to spool a stinkign to4R or something to 8 psi, it isn't going to make a difference. you can spit in most average size turbines and produce 8 psi (I know it is an exageration, but you shoudl get my point). lag time on a stock motor car to 8 psi shoudl be SOO MINIMAL that you almost feel like your car has a supercharger. it shouldn't even be a factor in a comparison. building 8 psi of boost with "every" available turbo system is relatively fast. even a tdo5h 20G builds 8 psi pretty dang quick. enough of my ranting. I am sure somebody will make a turbogharger system with gold plated turbo and gold plated tubular manifolds that cost 1700 bucks and will make my little rant invalid. until then, a couple of manifolds, a couple of small turbos, and a stock 420 motor is "always" going to be too close of a comparison to even scrutinize over. I could see it if one system made 150 more proven hp than another, but we are talking abotu a 10 hp difference ON A GOOD DAY AT BEST with all the current bolt on systems. the system isn't the limit, it is the motor, and until the system becomes the limit, comparisons are invalid (i.e. a tdo4-9b equiped system IS inferior to a 16g equiped system on a stock car because the 9b probably wont' even reach the limits of the motor..........nobody uses a 9b on a 420A).

OMG this is overkill,now its gotten into turbo design and concepts, research scientists analyze all this out of a friggin 8 second video clip and now were running for our lives and the state police has got a manhunt on the cali freeway- for two eclipses- wait let me call CNN we got to get the chopper in the air, put out an APB-ASAP^^^^^^^^ lades and gentlemen those 2 up there! THE ECLIPSE FILES -THE SEQUEL its mulder and scully damn!!

once again... when the video was taken.. we were not out to prove which kit was better.. the two drivers knew that both cars were not fully functional.. we did it just to have some fun. i know the racing should be kept on the tracks and off the streets.. but we didnt even get into second gear (at least i didnt, damn clutch).. comon.. we just had a meet at hooters.. when you see all that T&A, you need to release some tension... :)
