I only have a little over 2000 miles since my rebuild and I tested my compression, and I have about 150 per cyl. I'm pretty sure that I did a test soon after the rebuild and they were all about 175, but I can't remember for sure. btw, I have the total seal rings as well. The car seems to run fine otherwise. What have you guys got and at how many miles since your rebuild did you test. TIA

I got about 3K miles since my rebuild and my compression was 160 160 150 165. Not to bad, but all will very a bit from car to car.

That is what I can't figure out. I was supposed to have 8.5:1 compression JE's from howell, but after about 5K I did a check and got 200 195 195 195 Don't understand???????????????????

Sounds like you have 9.5:1's. Did they look like this? On 8.x:1's there won't be a raised section between the intake/exhaust reliefs.

Check the build sheet that came with your pistons. It should tell you the specs of what you put in your motor.
