How much horsepower does the hahns stage 2 have at the wheels with a FMIC?

225 @ 5psi? at the wheels? probably not that much. their website says "8 to 10 psi = 250 to 270 hp." considering a 15-20% loss to the wheels, you get anywhere from a low of 200 whp (250hp/20%loss) to a high of 234 whp (275hp/15%loss) at anywhere from 8 to 10 psi. that is w/ a smic, not the fmic thou.

All depends on the condition of the car. I'd say somewhere between 225-250hp, at the wheels with 9-10psi on a nicely tuned car with other supporting mods(exhaust, etc..). If you are asking this because you are thinking about buying the stage 2, just buy it, you will not be dissapointed :)

Does the size of the intercooler matter? I thought the bigger the intercooler the more hp you would get.

nah, the bigger the intercooler, the better it cools the intake charge and thus the higher boost levels you can run, however the bigger the intercooler the more of a boost loss you have. just a thought.

Size of the intercooler does not matter, it's all about flow rates and how efficient the intercooler is....

225-250whp is a good estimate.

i just went to the dyno last week and pulled 203hp @ the wheels @9lbs, but im an automatic. a 5spd w/ the same crank hp would lay down ~225whp.

keep in mind that that was way out of tune, my a/f was ~9:1-10:1, wasnt even on the chart for most of the pulls, d'oh! tuning alone would probably net me another 15-20hp

what was more impressive was i made as much torque as i did hp, in fact, @ 7lbs of boost, i made more torque than hp :)

btw, i went to the dyno w/ a bunch of S2000 guys, and i made more torque than everyone...including the guy running a vortech sc AND a 30shot of nitrous :)

Whoa.. hold on. Does the AT suck that much power outta the car?? It can't be that the tranny causes a 20 HP difference can it??? That seems like a bit too much.

Typically an auto will consume about at least 5% more HP than a standard tranny. Some..even more.

the a604 is said to be good for about ~25% power loss to the wheels...thats a rough estimate, some cars itll be more, some less. the 5 spd in our cars are better at getting the power to the wheels, and ~15% power loss is a rough estimate for them.

obviously that percentage isnt a hard number, and changes w/ power levels: ie, if you make a 1000hp, your gonna make more than 750 @ the wheels ;)

Most of you have a FMIC I'm thinking about getting the SMIC will this cut down on my boost or performance I thought you were saying the side mount gets more boost than te front mount . What would be better for my car?

peak torque was at ~4400-4800 (but torque curve was pretty flat), peak hp was up around 6000... not sure, dont have the graphs in front of me, but it was something like that
