29733, missing link O ring???
Posted by Dave_FL, Aug-23-02 09:18 AM
I have trhe 2 o rings on the map sensor but the instructions says there is a supplied O ring for the missing link where it meets the manifold. Is it the large ring that is already attached to the manifold?

all you have to do is stick the map sensor with the 2 o rings on it already into the missing link, then you place the missing link against the manifold and there is already an o-ring attached to the bottom of the missing link. so there is nothing extra to do. the instructions are a little confusing, but yea.

The instruction is a bit confusing. There isn't any extra O-ring to insert; it's the black O-ring that is already installed in the ML on the bottom side, the side with the red, plastic plug (which you can discard)

Yeah, what he said, just look at it, there is already an o ring on one side, if not, then you got the shaft, j/k.

haha, well, there is one if your not getting a significant loss of boost. If your isnt there, you can buy one at napa or autozone for a couple cents.
