How much boost can i run at the track on race gas with a stage 1C NER kits with a 1g smic? I know i can run 7psi with premium so anybody running high boost know whats safe and what isn't.

i think you dont realy need to use race gas with that low of boost.it not high enough to have to worry about denotation.but i would say dont go over 8psi unles your ready to rebuild

yeah, you should be fine at 7-8psi on regular premium fuel. Im not sure what you can run on race gas but it should definitely be higher than 8psi.

You could just throw in a set of forged pistons and rings and be done with it. Tommyboy ran 16psi I think before he bent one of the stock rods. By the way, any one know if the new Neon SRT4 pistons fit our cars? Can we swap any parts with them?

Race gas isn't really needed until you reach 20+ psi boost levels. When at these levels, it becomes more important to use some type of ignition retard, and a good fuel delivery system. And tommyboy was bending stock rods around 13 psi of boost...

i think it be stupid to just replace the pistons and not the rods. i mean your ether spending the money on macanic hours.or you bust your ass doing it twice when you could have done it the first time.iam i right>
