Just got mine today. Installed it, reset the ecu. I have NO MORE partial throttle stumbles. At all. Before ML, I would have stumbles at the transition between vacuum and boost. Bad, sometimes worse than others though. Took it for a drive, and the stumble is just gone. Every gear, from 2500 rpm to 4000 rpm. The freeway drive will be the ultimate test tomorrow, I'll let everyone know in the morning.

BTW, I got the same smile on my face after installing this as I did right after I put my kit on. It helped my car THAT much.

The damn thing is so simple, it's awesome.

It takes on a relatively simple problem and solves it in an unobtrusive manner. And that's totally polar from using FCD's or Volate clamps or whatever, that take the easy problem and put a potentially bigger problem in the mix. That problem can make your car freak out with fuel cuts, cause leanness, and might even make your car misfire and detonate.

I know $50 is a fair amount of money, but anyone with a 96+ turbo 420a, get one!! (unless you're Ryan_RS who has a 99 and his FCD doesn't work -Oh what a Suprise! :rolleyes - however he neither gets fuel cuts nor CEL's and his MAP sensor reads 4.97 under boost. :wary )

I just tracked mine and it will be here tomorrow!! Eventhough I am getting zero fuel cut at 15 psi right now.

Yes! I have to agree 100% on the ML. I too had stumbles in the transition, but the ML got rid of it for good. It also made me run improper A/F ratios too, i was running way too lean at 7 psi with over 120 psi of fuel pressure!! Another crappy piece on the HRC kit..Just waitin for my ex mani to crack or some shit :( Bout the only thing left that came with the kit that i havent replaced yet with something of better quality.. :rolleyes But yeah, best 50 bucks ever spent..

I have had ML on for about 4 weeks now, the first thousand miles were great, but after that I was, and still am, experiencing fuel cut at WOT, not sure what is the culprit, but I will definatly let ya'll know when i find out!
Maybe I should throw up the Bat Signal for all in those 2gnt'ers in Indland Empire who can help figure this out!

My missing link came yesterday. I put it in, but I haven't even driven the car yet. I'll have to take it for a spin to test it out today :)

Hey all. I'm pretty new at this stuff, I'm not going to BS anyone on that. :) I'm doing all my research before I boost my 420a Avenger. Where can I get an FCD? I've looked around but haven't had much luck. Thanks!

Okay, I installed my missing link and removed the FCD. Checked my MAP sensor voltage with the S-AFC and it still says 3.5v. So, what's the problem now? Bad MAP sensor??

Do you know if the s-afc is giving you the right info. Have you hooked a multimeter to the map and read the volt at WOT that way?

Not yet, I've just been going off what the S-AFC said. I guess I'll throw a multimeter on it this weekend and make sure. I'm also gonna swap the MAP sensor from another 420a and see if that fixes it. Does anyone know if the MAP sensor from a Neon is the same?
