those are low #s.. i would do a rebuild at the same time or before... if those are on stock internals rebuild your internals dude.. should be from 180-210 about...

Hey thats not too bad...My buddy has 150 accross and he's boostin 15psi. Wait a sec he has 7.8:1 compression in his 1g:)

Thats pretty low and I doubt your engine will stand up to much boost for very long. Better save up some money! Welcome to the world of modifying 4 cylinders :)

did i have to take out all the plugs and then do it .case i took out one out at a time and left the rest ina nd put the tester in one is that right?

No that's not right. Make sure the engine is warm, pull all the plugs/wires, unplug fuel pump relay, unplug coil pack, have the throttle all the way open then crank it.

its always best to do a compression test before you buy a turbo kit .. i did... its not a good idea to do it one day before it arrives... oh well. get a loan and rebuild now you will be happy..

Before I went turbo my compression test results came up around the 160's for all cyl. This was before i knew about the 2gnt board. I didn't think there was anything wrong cause they were all similar in test result. At the time I put the turbo on there was 28k on the car. By the time I was to 40k I was having problems comming out of my ears due to blown ring in one cyl, and my hg was toast in a different one.
All that was just to say, it IS worth doing it right the first time.

o you dont even know i have dreams about it.lol, i just hope being a turbo is all that i think it is and i will love it i hope...
