Is this the same as the HKS SS BOV or is this a different type. I have one on the way soon and need to know if i should get another aftermarket BOV b/c i want something with nice pssss sound and reliable for low boost levels such as 5 or 6psi?

I believe that they are different. I have a Std. HKS BOV and never had a problem with it.

Never mind, i found out that it is not the same as the HKS SS BOV.

I am a newbie, so is the hks standard blow off valve's sound not so great or is it just that greddy and the hks ss sounds better. I mine as well get the greddy type s. How much did shaun charge to upgrade to a type s bov. I might call him tomorrow and try to upgrade it before he sends the kit.
