as you all know since I posted it about 20 times I have the hrc stage 2 sitting in my basement waiting for install. I got a supra tt fuel pump and a 1g smic instead of the accel pump and hahn's smic. what will I need to install the pump and what mods need to be done to the interecooler or piping? Is there anywhere that I can Send the smic to change the inlet and outlet sizes to match the hrc piping? I'm in NJ.

I' not sure if your kit didn't come with a smic but as far as I know those hahn smic's flow really well, and it realyl would be pointless to go to the 1g smic, but check XtremeRS he has a 1gsmic with his hrc stage 1

I have a 1g SMIC and it takes some work to get it to fit in there right. You'd be better off with Hahn's SMIC. I can't help you with the Supra pump, but again why? The Accel pump is fine, just use that inline pump instead of trying to get stuff to fit and then having that doubt in your mind later if you run into problems. You def. don't fuel problems either. Just my 0.02.

Speaking of 1g smic on a 2gnt, anyone got any pictures?

I'll probably try and mount mine on and get some piping figured out...At least the piping to the TB.

I went with the supra tt in-tank pump because it is quieter than the accel inline. I was going to go with a walbro but I was told that a supra tt was more reliable. hahn's sidemount is 400 which is to much money for me. plus I got my 1g smic for 30 bucks. If anyone has a hahn's smic sitting around for about 150-200 I would definitally be interested. Thanks for the help.

you would have been MUCH better off with th eaccell inline pump. it can supprot the constant high pressure you will need with that kit. that is the reason they supply that pump with that kit. it's not because hahn racecraft supports noise polution. it's becuase they dont' want their customers blowing their cars up.

to install a japanese performance car sized fual pump (supra pump is same size as vr-4, and rx-7 and 300 zx, nd skyline pump, etc. etc. etc. most of them have differnet flow rates, btu th edimentions are the same) you will need some muffler strap, and a cutter wheel, and possibly a metal stick. my fuel pump picup uses a tube instead of the o-ring at the top, so all I had to do was remove the rubber grommet at the bottom of the pickup and cut the metal reciever tube from the pickup down so that th epump would fit in there. then I had to flare the edge fo th emetal tube out with a metal stick so that th eclamp wouldn't slide off of it at any time (cutting th etube shorter removes th ebead, so that is what the flaring makes up for) then I used the plumber strap to go around th ebody of th epump and bolted it to th erear bolt that holds th etop and bottom portions fo th epump pickup together. then I had to cut the wiring harness and put hoop connectors on the wires to hook it up to th epump terminals, beign careful not to crimp the connector too much at the top. then th eassembly goes in the tank. if you have an o-ring style pickup, I dont' know how to help you. you really shoudl hav ego ta fuel pump that fit yoru application 'though. if you were going to go with an in-tank pump, the walbro 255 high pressure pump would have been a much better buy as it is made to be a direct replacement for small body pumps.
