What I'm thinking is to run the feed line from the back of the block to the oil cooler. Then run the outlet of the cooler to the turbo. I know it'd be better to cool the oil after the turbo but I don't see how that'd be possible because there is no pressure in the return line. Has anyone done this or know if I have the right idea?

Instead of cooling the oil for th turbo alone, why don't you cool the oil for the entire engine. the motor benefits from cooler oil as well, and it would probably be easier to do.

Matt. Noticed your oil filter has pressure? well thats where you duct your oil from :) you get a oil cooler KIT and it should include a tap and shi+ for it.

But all of the oil will eventually pass through the turbo. It's not just the same oil set aside for it. The reason I was going to do it like that is I can get JUST an oil cooler for like $40 and the kits are way more than that. I just figured a little cooling is better than none

What I think Armond is trying to say (ignore this sentence if you got his point the first time) is that if you put the oil cooler before the turbo; the oil gets cooled and immediately is heated by the turbo and the engine itself never reps the benefits of cooler oil. By the way, are you related to a Nick Bush from Circleville?

That's true. I guess I'll just wait a while and buy a whole kit. Is it really worth the money though? Does our oil get too hot? And no I'm not related. But where did you go to high school? I knew of someone w/ your name.
