Check it out if you ever see a Isuzu Impulse AWD Turbo at the junkyard get the heat shield from it. I got it to fit pretty easy. Just cut the bracket and relocated it to the bolts on the turbine. It's kinda loose but it doesn't rattle or nothing. Best thing is that it sez TURBO on it bwahahaha gives that stock look!! No more ugly turbine housings for me :)

maaaaaan and i just ordered one! great! not only that, but i saw an impulse at the junkyard the other day. unbelieveable! it would've saved me $95.

well if you ordered one I hope you got one for the exhuast manifold also. Only thing that really radiates heat now is my exhuast manifold thanx to the turbine heatshield ^_^

Remember it has to be a TURBO Impulse. It's the nice ones with the 4 round lights in the front and if you look under it it has 4 drive axles. I think it's like a late 80 or early 90s model. Pretty badass car :)

Haha you gonna hate me even more when I tell you how much I paid for it... somewhere in the area of 5 dollars! I'll see if I can find somemore, I saw another impulse at a different yard don't know if it's still there I got it's intercooler hehe ^_^

Yup, the heatshield look really nice. I saw it in person today.

Sheeet do you know how rare the impulse turbo was over here(geo storm counterpart, not the old clumpsy looking older models). I haven't even seen one on the streets in yrs. hell I haven't even seen a non turbo impulse on the street in yrs. Probably easier getting a JDM heatsheild, then you could talk that JDM jargon amongst your honda friends as well. I actually used to want one at one time (I was driving a geo spectrum at the time, another isuzu product and 160hp AWD turbo sounded pretty good. still does. heck I even wanted a stylus as well at one point). Got a 1G eclipse instead. guess I made the right choice.

hey I dont think you'll have to worry about too many people copying this one but you should get a good laugh out of the futile treasure hunt you just started. If they had made a turbo geo storm version they'd probably be easy to find.

There is a guy here in Olrando that has 2 of them and he races them at tghe track all the time. I need to ask him if he has any spasre heat sheilds.

woohoo....I get to say I have a JDM part in my car if I get one of these heat shields. Finally I can talk amongst the Honduh guys without striking an arguement.
