I just wanna take count to see whos boostin on a stock bottom end!?! And please list if you have had to change your HG..either from blowing it or through installing a HCHD...Thanx...I will be boostin soon!

yep I'm on stock bottom end. had to replase the HG at 94,000 miles it was leaking for a while before I turbo charged it.

Stock bottom end, stock HG, 11 psi, 5K miles.

I'm gonna do it. on a high mileage engine :) place your bets on when I blow something up!

stock here.. goin on almost a year at 8 psi. no gaskets leaking or needing to be replaced (yet)

Been turbocharged since last October w/ stock bottom end. Blew one motor after 3000 miles on dyno after 10 runs or so due to bad tuning most likely and now on 2nd motor I haven't gone above 4psi until this past weekend I raced car at 10psi and now w/ boost leak Im seeing 8psi. Damn cheap MBC. Hoping my engine will hold up for a little before I need to rebuild.

Although, I have forged internals sitting right next to me on the floor and another 420a engine out in the garage, I'm still boosting around on stock internals in the meantime until it's swapped out.

50+k overall on the engine, and over 27k boosted miles. No work at all on the engine, including HG. (I boost every day)

8.5lbs of boost, stock bottom end, been boosting since last november.

92K on the car, been boosting since last august. I have about 8000 miles turbo'd. The HG is leaking a little but not much. I am changing over to forged internals this coming weekend }>

15k miles (100+ miles a day freeway) boostn' on all stock internals. Installed turbo at 30k on the motor. HG never went still not even leaking. All i am boosting is 5 psi (to the manifold) intercooled, and the car loves it.

i have 150k... but it depends on your compression like i have 212,215,220,205 i can boost

10psi for 3 years. Small HG leak.

How many of you guys race often?

allmost 166k miles here been boostin at 8psi for allmost 4k miles. still runnin good. but gettin rid of the kit cuz i have no money :(

boosted for about year and a half, have 75,xxx miles and boosted for about 15,xxx of them. No HG leaks(that I know of) run a daily 5psi, but soon to go up to 7.

JESUS! you have 150K miles and your compression is that high? Mang, you must be doin something right!

How come the Avengers are running higher boost than we (Eclips/Talon owners) are? Do they have better internals, considering I heard that everything from the driver side up on the Avengers are the same as the Eclipse/Talon..

Or, do they have better tuning skills :-)

Since they were ALL made in the same exact factory with the same exact parts with the same exact motors made in Mexico, I truly doubt it. I think everyone is basically bossting the same amount. (i.e. 5-10psi) I've been running 8 psi for quite some time now. Running more than that isn't exactly what you call prudent in my own humble opinion.

It's because Avengers come w/ the 420aX4 motor w/ factory forged internals. 11psi is my low boost setting.


;) Actually only Ryan and I posted and we run the same as most everyone else like Jason said. Only reason I run 11 is because my WG is 10psi and I have a backup built motor :)

5psi all stock internals no problems at all except tranny that i just blew this weekend
