I installed it like I had my MBC installed. It does not work. It will not control the boost. Here is how I have it...

Turbo ---> Selonoid In / Selonoid Out ----> Wastegate

That is the way that Dino told me to do it, and that is the way that I had my MBC. The guy at the local "performance" shop that sold it to me told me that it had to be installed like the directions said. Here is what they say...


Now. Which way is correct for our application? I figure that I am going to rerun all the vacuum lines so that it is like the instructions, but I am not going to tap into my IC piping before the TB, I will just take a port off the TB.

Anyone installed one of these before?

not trying to be retarded or anything, just covering the basics.......did you hook up the head unit a manifold pressure line? the sbc-id should have a hose diagram similar to a profec-b (the solenoid only workes as a valve.....not a controller as ina mbc). the controller is electric (your head unit) and requires a "pressure signal" so I knows how much boost you are running so it can control it.

Why are they saying top and bottom port of WG. Does the deltagate have a top port? is that what that vacume thing up there is?

The SBC has a control module located inside the car and there is a vacuum line connected to that. I teed off from my boost gauge line to the control module.

I have a Tial wastegate, so I do have 2 ports on it, so that is not a problem. I guess I am going to try to install it like the diagram shows and see what happens.
