Alright I want to go turbo in about a month, I have 73,000 on a 98 GS, alot of it is highway miles, the engine is in great shape from what i can tell, Do you guys think it would be good atleast for a year for about 8psi. It will probably have about 75000 by the time I get the tubo on. I'm gonna do that rebuild a year later when I have the money, what do you guys think?

I figure I'll say it first, Compression test. Get one and know exactly what cond. your engine is in. 8 psi would be good with a stage II with any kit. I probably would not go any higher. Some injectors and a good fuel system would help keep 8 psi as safe as you can be for the stock internals and daily driving.

You will probably be fine, but make sure you have a compression test done first. This question has been asked by a lot of people before, so if you run a search, you will find a lot more input to things you may be concerned about.

I went turbo later than that. Only problem I've had is with the Head Gasket. So do the comp. check and check real good for a leaking HG. If it's all looking good boost away.
