I plan on upgrading my fuel system soon. I am going to get a new regulator and change all my lines to steelbraided lines. Is the S-FMU worth the extra money when you have a S-afc and 440cc injectors?

yes someone please elaborate on this I was going to start a similar post but here we go..

as far as i know the only difference between the fmu and the sfmu is that w/ the sfmu you can adjust the static pressure and w/ the fmu you have to have u're stock fpr hooked up to control the idle pressure. the sfmu mite be more adjustable too ... i have neither so maybe someone else could reply w/ a better answer for you.

Go with the SFMU. Its exrtemely versitile, and you have many options for rise rates and fuel pressures. Worth every penny IMO. As for how to tune it for your planned setup, well no help there, but good luck with it dave. I am very, very pleased with how the SFMU works and how it keeps rock solid pressures.

Hmm well with the FMU you can adjust pressure by using dem disc thingies, haha which is something I should look into so I don't keep running supa rich. I guess the SFMU is good for fine tuning though. Probably as good as getting a super AFC :)

You currently have 440cc injectors and are using the HRC FPR? If so, how are you handling idle (using the S-AFC to lean out)? Anyway, I'd get the S-FMU. Not sure, but can the S-FMU calibrate down to a 1:1 ratio (for stage IV or V systems)?

I havent installed the injectors just yet. They are sitting in my room. I have the S-AFC installed though and I planb on leaning it out with the s-afc. I have a bad MAP sensor right now so I am not installing them untill my new one gets here.

get the SFMU, forget the standard FMU, yhere are so many more adjustments you need that are on the SFMU and not on the FMU. the unit is externally adjustable while the FMU is not. I have 440's afc and SFMU with the 1.5/2:1 disk and adapter in it and it works great. if you are going to go with steel braided hoses like i did it is way easier to hook them up to the -6 AN fittings on the FMU.
