Well the CEL finally stayed on long enough for me to get to Auto Zone to check the code(s) out. Well i got 2 having to do with the o2 sensor malfunctioning. So I felt it was about time to buy a new front o2 sensor.
Question: Has anyone tried the 1/4 watt 1 mega ohm resistor mod for there rear o2 sensor?
(That mod is place the resistor inline on the sending wire).
If you have, did it work out well for you?
What wire is the sending wire on my 98? There are 4 of them.
The third code I got had to do with the #4 cyl missfiring, which surprised me. I thought i was going to be looking at 3 cyls missfiring :)

Yeah the resistor mod works just fine if you switched to a high flow cat or testpipe etc.. You might get a little change in air/fuel ratio though, im not sure what effect the rear 02 has on fuel or if its just to check if the cat is functioning properly
