I have a 95 Eclipse with a Hahn stage 1 kit. I want to use a FMU instead of the billet regulator. With stock injectors and running 5 to 6 pounds of boost, what ratio FMU should I use? I will not use a SAFC. With the FMU and stock regulator, how will the car run and at what pressures will the car ultimately see?
When I reach stage 2, can I still use the FMU at that level or will I have to change disks in it?

I believe the FMU that comes with the Star Stage II kits has an 8:1 disc. not 100% sure though (my mind is not 100% today). YOu can buy varius disks so as to be able to change the fuel supply.
check the archives and things we've seen before sections. You will find your answer there.

search function doesn't work right.I tried going page to page to page but I need a quick answer. Lately people have been getting great SFMU help. People have been told what disk to use, what spring to use, what idle and static pressures to use, everything. Why can't I get a answer? Somebody has to have used a FMU before. Even with all my reading and searching, I do not have a answer on my on. It should be simple, but I don't want to buy a 8:1 ratio FMU when 6:1 is what I should of got. I am supposed to be trying to get 90 pounds of fuel pressure at 6 pounds of boost, right? What ratio disk would be right for me? There should be one right answer because of the way a FMU works, right?
If for some reason I can't get a answer, then tell me this. Do I go from static fuel pressure or idle pressure? And what is that pressure set at stock?
Again, i tried searching. If your going to type a reply, please answer a question or two.

I read that a few times. It talks about a SFMU which I am trying to stay away from using. It seems a FMU that will adjust my boosted pressure only and is not adjustable is better for my application.I know you said that Star kits use 8:1 ratio disks but I hoped a few HRC people had oppinions.
