Unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible, a turbo would make a CAI pointless. So would it be a bad idea to get a CAI if I'm planning on turbo someday? Although it might be quite a while till I can afford a turbo kit.

well to have a CAI with your turbo, it will be up to you on the customization of it. I just used my HRc stage one and stage two piping to create a CAI . the filter sits slightly in front of the SMIC (covering 2 bars) and right behind the left fog light.

Nothing wrong with a turbo CAI but of course with a good intercooler it isn't critical. You can tell that by feeling the cold side of the intercooler with the normal underhood filter.
