mustang gt injectors what lbs are they stock and they are bolt on from what i have been reading now someone told me it was 19lbs will our ecu be able to use as PnP or do i need Safc or some sort of fuel thing.

I thought they were 30lb? If they were only 19lb they would be like 200cc injectors, which is less than what we have now...(235cc or 22lb) And Yes I beleive that you will need a super afc or some sort of fuel management unit.

You don't need an AFC for 30# injectors. You will need to lower static pressure w/ an adjustable FMU though.

ok but i don't have a fmu that is the prob, I got a 1:1 and i got an 255 that i need to install any idea on how to do it, how to install the high pressure 255

I already replied to your post on the Walbro. Are you using a 1:1 FIXED regulator? If you are then you will probably need like 440's and AFC. I a were you I'd get an SFMU and 30# injectors.

well about this fpr then should i just sell it and then just get the 50lbs and afc what do you guys think ??

How much boost are you going to run? You could use stock injectors but you need a rising rate reg like the Vortech FMU. Or you could get an SFMU and 30# injectors and not need an AFC. Or you could get 40-42# injectors and AFC and use the SFMU or the regular FMU. Just depends on what YOU want out of your car and what your future plans are.

well right now i have no intercooler and i am trying to run 5psi that is why i am saying if i could do it with the fp and the 1.1 fpr to run 5psi and i am gonna rewire the fp. In the future iam planning to go biiger and faster but when i rebuild and get more engine work but right now i just want to run good at 5psi without any harm

hey a quick question for you now this 12:1 stuff so there is nothign to control in the fmu right, just put the disk and at 5 psi one will be at 60psi??

can i just do the same with the 1:1 set it to 60 or 65 or just tune the car until its running farely rich ??? What do you think or will this be bad.

I'm not trying to be mean so don't take this the wrong way. You need to read a lot and learn how this stuff actually works before you do ANYTHING in the way of turbocharging or planning the turbocharging process. Just go through atleast a few pages of threads in this forum.

OK, basically w/ stock injectors you can hook up a Vortech FMU and leave the stock regulator. The FMU will raise pressure and you don't have to set anything. You're lucky that you have a kit and people have already done this and figured it out. It makes it a lot easier. But when you upgrade and do something different on fuel you have to figure shit out and that's when it gets a little harder. Use the 12:1 disk and be done w/ it until you upgrade. I have no idea how to hook up the FMU because I have the SFMU. And I've only READ to use the 12:1 disk so double check that too. I hate repeating info that I have not personally dealt w/ but just trying to help you out real quick.

so meaning that this 1:1 is a peice of shit and will not work for me :) heheheh lolz, I get it so the fmu does its own work right and with the 1:1 you have to be setting till it gets good ?? but how does fmu determine the ratio though just by 12:1 for 1psi of boost it will put 12psi of pressure ???

I ordered next day and did not get it so i was piseedd errrrrr. Nut now what the hell do i do with this FPR 1:1 damit where can i sell it, does anyone want to buy it :)

Haha, you had probs with Vortech too huh :) Yeah, those guys over there are complete idiots, i had such a battle with them to get my used smfu rebuilt, and back to me..took like almost a month.. But yeah, you got the right idea. A 12:1 ratio means that for ever one pound of boost, it raises the fuel pressure 12 psi. So by a 1:1 rise rate, it will only raise the fuel pressure 1 psi for every 1 psi of boost..def not enough for stock injectors. You dont *need* the sfmu, but it is sooo versatile on what it can do, its totally worth every penny IMO.

I forget off the top of my head, but Corbin's EIC he put togehter uses one of these, so maybe check out his site..i *think* its an Aeromotive brand..

No you can only change the rise rate by changing disks. It will rise from whatever factory static is. I thinks it's like 60psi. w/ the 1:1 regulator you will get 1psi fuel rise for every psi boost. You can't change it.
