Where exactly is this connection where we hook up the harness to? And what is the color of it?

Take off the top and bottom plastic pieces on the steering column right behind the wheel. follow from where you put in the key, to the back of the ignition to the harness plug on the back of the ignition. You unplug that, plug one end of your harness to the ignition, then the harness that you unpluged, plug it into the other end of the TT harness, then you should be able to figure out the rest...
