JE Pistons, Crowler Rods... .020'' over, and high compression pistons if your planning on staying NA, or vice versa if going turbo... lower compression helps give you a bigger safe area for tuning.

You can also go with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. That combo is a little cheaper. Wisco is a reputable company and the Eagle rods are beafy, I just got mine.

Where did you get your Weisco/Eagle combo? I know CNNP sells them but I've heard mised reviews. It seems guys either get their order within a week or wait several months. I'm wondering who else sells them.

just order the stuff you need from howell automotive. they have it all categorized so you can't screw it up. unless you are looking to make over 400 hp, then I would suggest getting crower rods instead of eagle.
oh, and don't type in caps. it is annoying to read.
A.D.P. "...If you do too much, people become dependant. If you do to little, people loose hope. If you do it right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." bring it on............

I agree with Brad. Go with the JE and Crower. Hell, get them from HRC. I emailed them abotu doing a rebuild kit, and their response was yes, but only on a customer by customer basis.
Beside, there JE Pistons were made per HRC spec for the 420a Eclipse. Plus the design allow for better heat dissipation.
Anyways the choice is yours. Best wishes.

Crower isn't listed on HRC's site, but you say they can do it on a customer by customer basis... right? How much did they quote you?

I go mine from CNNP too. CNNP sucks. read my post about them in general chat. I just got my wiseco pistons and eagle rods back from the machine shop. The guy had to machine my rods to fit the pins that come with the pistons. Just so you know.

Nice turbo dougie2. I am using the same one for my setup. Good old Airesearch.

Race Engineering on Florida has the wiseco pistons/eagle rods. along with JE and crower. they are very good about customer service, that is where we get all our internals. for the money, its hard to beat the Wiseco/Eagle combo. if you need some internals, give a shop called KLR a call, number is 865-986-4110, ask for Mace and tell him Anthony sent ya. he will get ya hooked up.

...I use Pauter's rods and special JE Turbo pistons. The setup is the ultimate. Weiscos are just as good as JE and I would have bought from them initially had I known about them 1st. They have good customer service and make our pistons. I think Stan uses them or uses them but they are good. ross are also good and I'd buy from them before JE too.
