Is the gasket that goes in-between the s16g and the HRC down pipe a mitsu part? If it is does anyone have the part #?

I know I can order it from HRC but I just want to see if it is a mitsubishi part because the local dealership might have one.

well you could always get the O2 housing and all gasket...cut it off...whatever works....I need the same gasket...i was goinf to try a 14b gasket...

Take off the gasket and take it to a real parts store (NAPA, speed shop, etc. -not autozone). They should be able to match it up with an off-the-shelf collector gasket. They're usually made a little tougher too. Just don't tell 'em what it's for or then they try and look stuff up. :rolleyes

Don't think you can get it from a dealership, but you can get it from HRC.

yeah, its a collector gasket with a 2" opening. you can get them from hahn for 5 bucks a piece, or you might be able to get them through summit or jegs for cheaper. autozone or pepboys(or your local automotive parts store) might carry them as well.

You can walk into any autozone and pick up 2'' collector gaskets, pro-series that holds up better for high heat, 2 in a pack for 4 bucks, I piggy-back them and they last for a long time, until you loose a damn bolt off the dp which always happens, hehe.

what about the star gasket?
