first off I did a search, but couldnt find what I was looking for. So how many of you guys have taken your turbo cars to the dyno. What stage and how much power did you produce?? tia

stage 2 guys are all about 200hp, and the stage 5 guys are around 400 or so

I put down 197 to wheels when my boost spiked results in blowing my engine but I still put a decent ammount of power down. Put down 187 to wheels at 8 psi. Wont dyno again until Im either rebuilt or its w/ another car.

Star stage II at 10psi boost is at 213.5HP at 6krpm and 205.4 torque at 4.9krpm that's to the wheels.

aren't the kits supposed to output a lil more than that based on the advertising numbers? i know some of you had screwed up engines or it was just a bad day to dyno ...

175hp/165tq @ 3psi

OK, i want to know why mitseclips was able to get 175hp from 3psi when you guys are pushing 7-8 and getting around 200. Whats going on here??

Im asking all of these ?'s because I should be getting my NER kit within a couple of months 1500 left to go

check out that green dyno plot which was ran at 3psi (my wastegate spring) BEFORE i had my boost controller hooked up RIGHT after the turbo was installed. i was quoting wheel hp/tq, thats why i asked what i asked earlier, shouldnt at least someone on the board have 240+ hp w/ a stage2 kit? i remember it a while back but the cars seem to be too few and far between for what the claimed hp levels are. i know hrc claims engine hp to be 250-275 which puts you at 200-220 at the wheels (approx, w/ a 20% loss) even then we should be seeing higher hp numbers. thats not considering that the loss is less than 20% and that everyone with a star kit should output higher hp #'s. just a thought. i'm not saying that hrc and the other turbo kit manufacturers are lying, every car is different yadda yadda, and most people's setups have small differences as well, like in the other post about 1/4 mile times, if u're engine isn't running rite it could affect performance a lot. a month after this dyno was done when my fpr was broken, my map and o2 were blown, and i was running what we'll call "full" fuel rail pressure (the return line was blocked) and i was hitting fuel cuts above 3.5psi, AND my cel was on, i ran only 140hp. thats about a 30hp difference just because my fuel had gone the way of the dodo, and the engine was compensating every way it could like by messin w/ the timing etc etc. if everyones engine was tuned and looked after the way the hrc cars are, i'd expect higher numbers, and i think hrc and all the other companies should, next to the peak numbers, put an average dyno number that your average customer was able to achieve after buying the product and installing and doing some dyno runs. i think it would help.

I never dynoed mine but I would think with my 14.3 1/4 miles time I was pushing over 200 whp. I do weigh 245 lbs plus I have a heavy ass GS not an RS. So my car was prolly pushing around 3100lbs. And a 14.3 at 3100lbs is over 200 hp for sure.

yea, you should be at 209.53 hp at the wheels. that is 251 at the flywheel!!! I would say Hahns hp numbers are correct...
