I figured out why my batterly prematurely died...my battery had literally run out of juice! (The water in it had dried up meaning massive internal damage was done.)

With the addition of the turbo (increased engine bay temps), I now must stress the importance of doing extra preventive maintenance on your nonsealed battery! Just make sure you regularly check the water level in the battery and top it up with distilled water!
