Posted by killhonda666, Jul-08-02 01:37 PM
I had a star stage 1 for about 3 months now and just installed my starion front mount and i need to know what i need to run 8-9 psi. do i need to change the disk in my vortech before this? I just thought i would check here before i screw around with the boost controller and break something.

upgrade your injectors. get the 30lb accel injectors from Summit, they are like 38 bucks a piece. part# 150130 i believe. you will idle rough, and need to get a 8:1 disk for your car. if you are gonna run 9psi on a stoc block, make sure u have the backup money in case it blows. if you dont, keep it at 7psi.

Summit sells em by the piece, trust me. we have bought them from them before. use their part number search feature. i believe they are ACC-150130. the pack of 8 is like ACC-150830. 38 bucks a piece if i remember correctly. you can get the disk from vortechsuperchargers.com.
