I need the exact size of the Exhaust Manifold Bolts. HRC kit is in the mail, and Ive been advised to replace the HRC's in advance. What is the exact size I need?

I had the problems with the HRC manifold bolts too and what I did was to take the stock bolts and use a bench grinder to grind off the lip of each of the bolts so they fit in the HRC manifold. I tightened em down good once and that was 9 months ago with no problems.

They're the same size as our factory turbo'd brothers. I used stock studs and nuts from Satan.

So they are the same size as the 4G63 Exhaust Manifold Bolts? If I go to Satan, what exactly should I ask for..

Stud - pn MD031537
Nut - pn MD092806

You will have to slide one the manifold part way and then start all the nuts. Tighten them each a little at a time so the nuts dont't get wedged against the manifold.

I just took an old bolt out, and went to a parts store and matched them up, they are kinda hard to find, I just got grade 8 studs, not sure what length they were but i used lock washers and nuts on them, havent had a problem since.... go ahead and replace the manifold gasket while your at it.

How many do I need? Keep in mind I've never actually seen these bolts. Jason (JasonEsi_T) and I are going to be installing my HRC kit once he returns from Korea....before he left I asked him what I should buy in preparation for the turbo- I was advised to buy new bolts cause he said the HRC exhaust manifold ones are garbage....so I've never actually seen the bolts themselves. How many are there?

Eight. My studs were a little over a inch long i believe. and with lock washers and bolts it was all about 14 bucks... those grade 8 studs arent cheap... and no telling how much the mopar parts cost? But it was worth every penny... I had my uncle deck my manifold while it was off, and a new gasket from mopar installed... havent had any problems since... tips: use studs, lock washers, nuts, servicible thread locker, new gasket, and make sure to torque it down to the oem specs... cause lots of us always have probs with that spot leaking, and thats no fun... btw, dont use knock off gaskets, use the mopar one or the tti racing one, no felpro or autozone or any other gasket, i have used them all and they suck.
