What are you guys with 440's keeping your static at? I have 500cc Venom injectors and I keep mines at around 40psi. What I do is keep the vacuum line off and set it to around 50psi and when I put the vacuum line on it drops to about 40. And you with 310cc injectors.. what are your statics set at? Oh.. I use the SX FPR with steel braided fuel lines. It looks tight as hell with the fuel gauge on it. It's a 1:1 and it only costs 145.00 brand spankin new.,., but I got mines from someone on ebay for only 80.00. I'll post flics up soon.

I'm looking to get new FPR. Is this as good as SFMU?

Then you have a IDLE pressure of 40. Your STATIC is 50. I don't know the answer but I thought I'd point that out so no one gets confused.

that's what I meant. Yes.. the SX hold it's setting better than all the other fpr's I've worked with. Way better than the cartech. Just as good as the s fmu

um yeah, whenever i pull hhe vac line off my cartech the gauge pegs over 100...no matter what i have the static/idle screw set to.

With my 400's, all my pressure are stock save when i'm n boost. I still run the stock reg and have never had any problems with it.

so.. 50psi idle, ~60psi static. i run roughly ~100PSI at max boost.

Dino.. I'm wondering why Tommyboy had to disable the stock fpr on his '95 in order to run 310cc's or 30lb ford motorsports. I'm just trying to figure what's optimal for the 95'ers.

Because he doesn't run an AFC. he did that so he could use a fully adjustable regulator, and lower his static fuel pressure to compensate for the 30lb'ers.

I just adjust the hell out of it with the AFC. I think it's funny when people say that "it works your AFC really hard." it's solid state electronics. it doesn't care if it's -5% or -50% - it's just modifying a signal.
