2526, Engine rpm question Posted by fly1, Mar-09-01 02:05 AM
Has anyone experienced this:
For the first 400-500 miles after the turbo was installed, my engine rpm used to go up "normal?"--the accelerator pad actually feels slightly "heavy". Then at approximately 600 miles, the engine seems to rev up to 4000 rpm quicker than before--the pedal feels "lighter" to the foot. I'm not sure what the cause of the difference is, or if this is good or bad. Could it be that it's only in my head? Any clue or opinions?

if you swapped the TB while you were doing the turbo with a ported or bored one, then yes after a while your pedal will fell softer. but if you have not, then it's only in your head :)
