Does anybody know of a site that has a listing of high octane gas stations? I know where to get it at home, but I'll be driving to Abilene, TX from OKC, OK and I need to know what stations to look for. The only stations around here that has 93 octane is Sinclair. If you know of a site, post it - if not what station do you use?

damn... must suck we've got a few HIGH Octane gas stations out here, every gas station has the reg 87, 89, and 93. however we also have about 10-20 stations that have 100+ octane.

I lived in Abilene for many years. They used to have 93 Octane at the Exxon stations. Chevron also used to have 93. Dyess AFB also used to have 93. I think they have all changed to 92 octane in the last couple of years. You might find it at Fina stations, but not sure. I personally always bought gas from Chevron/Exxon and the base while I lived there. You can find 93 octane at Mobil stations in DFW area. I always get gas there when I can.

I do not think anyone sells higher octane at the pumps. There is a 1/4 mile race track in San Angelo for your high speed requirements.

Man that must be nice to be able to get 93 at the pump, here in cali, because of all the freaking EPA freaks and all them orgs our stations are 87 89 and 91 is highest!! damn the epa! don't then know that higher octains run cleaner??? :P sorta.

Just dropping my 2c in here, if your trying to get higher octane you may try picking up some octane booster from an auto parts store, I don't know how well it works but if you're on the Interstate and can't find 93 you probably should keep a bottle in your trunk. I think some of the bottles advertise up to 103. Anyway the scenery along that route to OKC is pretty dead so take a buddy to help keep u awake.

I know numerous people that add a couple gallons of Toulene for every fill up of 93 octane. Sherwinn Williams paint stores carry it in gallons/5 gallons/55 gallon drums.

I think the calculations are 110 octane and you can mix it up to 50/50 if you like. That is a high ratio mix and it should require a lubricant in the fuel as well. This is nonleaded and is safe for sensors.

So if you ever need to add a few points, just drop in a gallon or two with your pump gas. Your knock sensor will appreciate it.

damn, guess thats another benefit of florida. every single gas station has 93 octane.

the toulene stuff works really well tho, cheaper than octane booster and does a much better job
