Whenever im at a stop, or in idle, my rpm is normally around 750-800, but then sometimes for like almost a split second, my rpm drops to 600-650 and it feels like the cars gonna die, but it never does...this has been happenin to me a lot at stops and stuff around town, im thinking it might be the spark plugs? spark plug wires? battery? fuel? engine?

Mine did that for awhile, if you get out of your car and let it idle watching the engine, it more than likely dies right when the fan comes on. Check all of your fuel wiring connections, as it's probably a short somewhere in that. That's what fixed it for me, anyway.

Mine idles around 600 RPM. If I put the AC on, it idle a bit higher. My guess is the extreme heat we get here in FL. I haven't change the plug wires since I got the car. I just ordered new plug wires and have plugs sitting here waiting to install. I'll see if that makes a difference. My other guess is that my idle FP is fluctuating a bit, POS Cartech FPR. I'm too damn lazy too slap the gauge in the windhield.

I'd like to bitch about my FPR. Is it normal for fluctuation of the pressure, I'll start my car up and see 55-60, and then after i drive it, i'll see 45. It's really pissing me off.

Problems with idle often have to do with the IAC valve (Idle Air Control). It lets a certain amount of air bypass the TB plate to keep the engine running. It can get mucked up with junk from the EGR pipe. Remove the TB and pull the sensors/valve off. Clean the TB completely with TB cleaner (duh). Clean the IAC valve too with TB cleaner, but don't get it in the guts. That often improves idle. Or maybe something else is wrong. Its really hard to figure out idle problems.

I don't know if Cartech is the one that came with the Hahn kit, but that's the one I have.

It probably isn't gunk in the throttle body because I only have 1500 miles on my rebuilt motor, and i just cleaned everything inside and out. It gets really hot here in the daytime, and of course, only having a stage 1, my boost suffers. I don't boost at all in the daytime (usually) but im' still concerned about fuel pressure. I'm relying on idle pressure to make measurements, since Hahn decided not to give me the proper connections with my fuel pressure gauge, so it's directly connected to the FPR. I can check it at idle, but still haven't checked it under boost.
