25005, Lets see who is on the bandwagon-Star Kit 30Lb fuel

I was just wondering how many of you have been using this fuel system with a Star Kit. I have been running this for nearly 5 months without any problems. It might just be the answer to everyone who owns a Star Stage 2 or Stage 1 with alternate intercooler.

30LB injectors and 8:1 vortech fmu disc/ring. No S-AFC for tuning. BKR7E-11 plugs gapped at .035

Please only reply if you have this exact setup. I just want to see how many people actually have this and were not just asking a million questions about doing this.

Please post if you blew up your motor running this setup. If it was due to something else besides fuel, then tell us that also. I have 6000 miles of turbo time on the car with 1500 being stage one and factory injectors and 12:1 disc. 4500 miles have been using the system posted above.

If you have a digital AF meter installed, I would like to hear what readings/voltage you are getting at certain boost settings. I still have not installed the Corbin and will be doing it very soon.

I have star stage II. I don't have that set up right now but planning to upgrade to that 30lb injector. I have to ask you, How much boost can you have on that set up? Are you still stock internally and are you still using stock clutch? What kind are those injectors and how much are they? Thanks

I DO. 8:1 was too rich for 7psi so i went to the 6:1. 8:1 was great for 10psi though. :P the only thing i dislike about this setup is it runs rich at idle.

A/F readings...(8:1)
idle- 0.6-0.8
10psi WOT ~1.03

Why don't we refer to the disks in size? I don't think the ratio of fuel to air is even close. I use the 3.62 inch "12:1" disk and at max boost, 6psi, I was only seeing 85psi of fuel with idle at 40 to 45psi. That says the 12:1 is realy a 7.5:1.

You sure you put the right disk in? My static pressure is 53. My boost is set to 4 and w/ the 12:1 disk, I reach over 100psi.
