Oh yeah, it looks nice! That's a great idea to have the i/c and top pipe welded together, Jay. Why didn't I think of that? So, do you have everything for the turbo kit install?

First off, I like them apples! If you don't mind can you tell me how much everything cost? I have the starion, but how much to get it welded. I know the going rate for MIG welding is 40/hr but I can already MIG but I don't have the equip to TIG.

I owe it all to Hades Omega. I gave the guy picture of his intercooler and said make it look like this. http://www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=4292220115
I got the intercooler for $70. The aluminum pipe was like $35. Then I payed $190 for the welding. So it all cost around $390 to $400. Not to bad for a custom intercooler. I really didn't want to pay that much for the welding, but I just wanted to get it done. $40 an hour is a great rate. I payed $60/hr.
Kon, As fare as parts. I just need facume hoses, a 1/8npt to vacume hose fitting for the turbo compressor side, and time to do it. I can't find the fitting for the compressor though. I can get it from turbonetics, but they are going to charge me an arm and a leg. I also have 315cc injectors on the way. But I don't really need them to put the turbo on. Think I am going to do the install next weekend. Ready to help?

Chad, It all depends on the fuel system. Are you going to det an afc or go with Acell DFI. What are you plans? The stock ecu can only handle up to 315cc injectors without an afc.
Go to http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET and use the fuel injector worksheet to find out what you need.

Insted of worrying about the fitting for the compressor side why don't you just use a manifold vac source to control the WG? That way you don't have to worry about pressure loss from the IC.
