I really could use a nice 3" downpipe for my HRC kit. I hate the way you have to use your stock downpipe for this kit, it's the only shitty thing about it(except for the FPR). There are no shops around me that I trust to do the work, so I'm kinda screwed. I was wondering if anyone on here has had a custom one made, and if it is all possible if you could make me one?? Let me know if any of you guys can help me, I need it.......thanks

I hear ya man, my DP to turbo DP connection is leaking pretty bad, sounds like crap. I really want to weld the connection, but that would make it nearly impossible to take off the turbo in the future. I was thinking i could have that connetion welded, then weld some flanges on the stock DP right after the curve in it, befor the cat flex section..I think there will be enough room to get the turbo DP out if i do that...I just dont like using an exaust clamp to seal the connection myself really...

Last time I asked HRC they said no. That may have changed though.

As soon as I get my new welder I will be making one. If it turns out to look good and fit well I will make a lot of them to sell.

Well for what it's worth, there's one on my car. Well, actually it's sitting beside my car right now :(

This next couple of weeks sometime (hopefully in June) once they have the necessary flanges/gaskets, I should be heading up to northern Chicago to these guys( http://www.teamert.com/ ) to have my car fitted for a downpipe. Hopefulyl after that, they'll have what they need to service everyone else. So stay tuned fellas!

Have it custom made at a local shop out of 3'' mandrel bends... just have them cut the flange off the hrc one, and weld it to the new one, get a 3'' flex section to make sure you dont break bolts off... You should be able to get it done for under 200 bucks.

Thanks for the props and yes we are making a downpipe that fits the Hahn kit. It is a 3" mandrel bent unit that is a full bolt up. It will come with a ceramic coated sterling finish which carries a 3 year warranty against chipping, fading, rusting, and fading. Jason will test the system and Matt Bonner is the lead on the project. I just make the stuff ;)

I want a 3" DP... just please tell me it bolts up to the exhaust housing easier than HRCs? DAMN that bottom bolt! :D

How soon will this downpipe be ready for sale? I could use one very soon. This will bolt up to the HRC kit on an Eclipse right? Thanks man, you just may be saving me some work!

This will be built as soon as i can get my hands on some S16g exhaust flanges and gaskets. Prototype should be out (im hoping) by end of june early july. Jason ESI-t is coming up to be fitted for the prototype. This unit will bolt up, and it is one piece from the turbo to the cat. There will be options for highflow cats as well. This will be a 3"dp, we have no plans as of yet to make them in 2.5". Dyno numbers will also be available, before the dp and after the dp.

Any ideas on pricing? Make sure you let us know on here when it's completed, because I will buy one for sure! Thanks god, you will hopefully save my downpipe drama!

The price has yet to be determined. We will base it off cost of materials, production costs, and labor involved. Rest assured it will be reliable and will not be priced simply on the fact that it is the only option out there. Just mainly as an upgrade to an already well proven turbosytem with that one lingering drawback to make it almost perfect.

I'd just say for anyone out there to try and get the kit without the downpipe and have a good shop make one, or if you already have the hrc downpipe, cut off the flange and weld it to the new piping, you can have them made with a 3'' flex section for around 200 bucks at tops.
