What's the size inlet for the air filter to fit on the star turbo kit? I think it's 3 inches, but wanna make sure.

Yeah, it's like 3 inches. Personally, i would not reccomend even using the filter that comes with the kit. I have read about a few people that had it fall apart. I put on a k&n as soon as I put the kit on. Sorry for rambling, but yeah, 3". later, justin

haha yeah I didn't use that crap filter. It's pretty weak quality, you can get an even better one on ebay for like 15 bux and it'll have a neat little twisty pattern and an opening on top for more air flow. Right now I"m using my HKS I sold that crap filter to my friend hehe. If you do use it I suggest you glue the top of that thing on cuz it came off and stuff.

Yeah, mine melted and then fell apart. I have another one on there, but if it gets messed up I am going with a K&N.

it's not a 3 inch inlet, it's a little bit more than 2.5
