I wonder why he went with the 215/215 grind on his Crane cams. I figured he would go with the Split Duration 211/203. Anyone?

I'm also wondering how he ran 18psi with nothing to retard timing? Unless he has something he forgot to put in his mod list....if it's all legit.....very good numbers....

Yeah, thats my boy Brians old car. he sold it to someone out in Cali. so its no longer his. Brian actually has a 1998 Cobra now. which he's starting to mod. Imma definitely inform him of what his car is doing.

Wow its nice to see brians car again. He ran a 13.8 @102 in that car before it was sold and built. He was the only other 2gnt turbo around here besides me. Now he's a mustang guy. Oh well his Cobra is pretty nice I guess.

Yeah, Armond's numbers are definitely impressive, but compare stats. Armond made 400FWHP at 25+psi on race gas with a stand alone ecu. This dudes making 360+ at 18psi on pump gas with a stock ecu. Impressive stuff indeed. The torque is even more impressive.

I want to see the dyno chart. Would like to know how much hp he got at what rpm.

yeah his 13.8 was on stock internals. and 10psi which he ran for the year i've known him to have the car.

damn, is that the unofficial record for someone on stock internals??

I wouldnt count on that engine living any long period of time if it was stock internals....

yeah i ran 10pds on my factory rods and pistons for over a year. I ran the 13.8 @102 was on 10pds. They only thing i had was the Thermal Exhaust and AFX underdrive pulley. That was about it.


God I miss the Blow off Valve.

what was your fuel setup when you ran 10 lbs. for over a year??

i ran the setup that came with the star kit. The vortech FPR and the Walboro 255lph in the tank.

Yeah but you hardly put any miles on your car. Your full year is like 4 months more me. Your car only had like 45,000 miles and it was a 97 right? For all of you that think 10 psi daily on stock internals is safe you are going to experience a blow engine fast!
