HRC Stage II install in progress:

I'm a little confused as what to do with the cruise control. The instrustions are a little vague for me. Could somebody explain this better for me?

1) Remove the C/C bracket with C/C from its mounting location.

2) Take apart the cruise control bracket as it mounts on the passenger side engine bay wall. There are two parts to the bracket.

3) Take the upper part of the bracket that actually holds the C/C and get under your car and feel around for a mounting hole at the bottom side of the engine bay directly under the original mounting location. Mount the C/C bracket (with C/C attached) to this new moutning location at the BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE BAY. It's not important which hole you use or find. You can shine a light in the engine bay and find one at the bottom. Just mount it in there so its in the new location. This will creat the necessary space at the original stock location of the c/c for the FPR.

4) Now modify the lower c/c bracket so it can mount the FPR on it. You can do this a number of ways, be either mounting the FPR directly on to the bracket or by using the small L-bracket that came with the FPR to this lower c/c bracket. Either way, just get that sucker on there. I only used one bolt hole (by actually removing a rivet if I rememebr correctly) and that worked just fine.

5) RE-mount the lower c/c bracket at its stock location and then after its modification (or no modification) so that it can hold the FPR on at least one of its bolt holes at the c/c's old location.

I hope that sheds some light on the situation. Don't get caught up in the details with this. Do what you can to make it work. This is probably one of the most improvised parts of the install. I've seen people mount the FPR in every spot imaginable with this. But this procedure works well as I've described above in maximizing engine bay space.
