read that running too rich can also cause knock. true? cause i'm running pig rich at 15psi........650 celsius on my EGT.

running too rich can cause high EGT's. Not necessarily knock, but almost all the symptoms of it.

yeah i know about the EGT temps, wasn't for sure about the knock thing though. thx dark......well i'm not having this prob that's for sure.

You might want to get o2 voltages. EGT's is a guide to a good air/fuel gauge. Both lean and rich can cause high EGT's but how high or how low? You NEED an air/fuel gauge that reads o2 volts to use the EGT to it full potential.
