What do you guys check before take off. Me, I check:

oil
coolant in radiator
coolant in reservoir
manifold bolts
tranny fluid
Look under and check for fluid leaks

Just wondering what you guys check?!?!?!?

I usually check to make sure the car is running and in reverse before i go anywhere.

well b4 an autox I"ll check
Oil level
Radiator fluid level
tire pressure
manifold bolts/turbine bolts (hehe I forget this sometimes and loos at the bolt and go WTF again?!)

that's pretty much it.

i think I'm more anal then some of you.

Pre start of motor...
1. oil level,
2. tranny level
3. all hoses and lines are secured.

Post start of motor...
1. fuel pressure gauge
2. boost pressure (make sure it is in vaccum)
3. making sure there are no unusual noise.
4. check under car for leaks.
5. give the IC and oil cooler a few squirts of water/alcohol from my spray bottle to promote cooling

haha you even squirt your intercooler and oil cooler! that's something I'd probably do before an autox run but not on a regular basis. Hehe since I took my windshield washer reservoir out maybe I can do rig up a squirter :P

I've heard that people actually relay their windshield squirters up front, mounted near the IC. They then just pull the handle, near the steering column, to make it squirt directly onto the IC. Pretty nifty IMO!!!!

1st i say dame she is a BEAST =).. then check oil level, see if my hoses are all good, then start it up check my fuel pressure (since im tuning my new injecs) warm it up then turn on my fast and the furious labtop hehe and go... u spray ur coolers? haha

haha. i rigd my windshield washer skwirters to my ic but i didnt feel a thing. the stream is a lil to thick i guess. i need to make it so it will mist. i took it off though cuz it was leaking. then when my car was overheating i rigged it to the front of my radiator and would skwert it. didnt help cuz it was jes a lack of coolant but seems like a good idea.

Hehe Kaiser, you do ALL those things every time you start your car? Sounds more like you're operating a nuclear reactor than a car hehe. I'm lucky if I remember to check the oil level once a month. Good thing I haven't had any leaks.

im not turbo, but poppin my hood now is a pain in the ass, so only like twice a week do i go under it (unless **it happens).

b4 i roll, i back up a cuple feet, and check if she's leakin...

check tires to see if i need air, and warm her up alil..
