i hooked up a new greddy tt with the harness and now the car won't even turn over. i unhooked the tt and left the harness installed and it still wouldn't start. what did i do or now do?

Did you cut any wires when you installed it? Sounds like you cut the starter wire, instead of tapping into the ignition wire...Starter wire is black/red wire, and ignition is a black/white wire.. double check to be sure what you did..

no, i cut no wires. i used the harness. i unpluged the harness and the car started.

did you hook up the wire for the parking brake. When I did my girl friends HKS TT it would start until that wire was connected.

ya, there's only one wire going the the parking brake right? if so then ya i hooked it up. when i would turn the key to start it the TT would say "OFF". what about the speedo wire? i didn't hook that up.

ok i'v been working on this and here is what i'v got now... the car starts fine and the TT powers up. but when i turn the key off the car dies and the TT stays on and counts down.(car stays running when i turn key to ACC,but dies as soon as i turn it to off) the tt is hooked up with a 2g harness. also the disabling the parking brake feature didn't make a diff.
