has anyone tried this? i plan to get some thermo tec wrap for my hrc manifold... do you think it will have a chance to crank ? also the wrap for the turbo what do u all think worth it?>

I don't really know but I wanna get thermo tec wrap for my downpipe since it sits pretty close to the oil pan. I saw another ad for other heat insulating stuff but I forget the name of it. I heard the manifold may crack if you wrap it...

yah dude, i heard the same thing if you wrap the manifold..also the old manifold which has some probs keeps poppin up in my head..plus some people on here have small cranks forgot who...should i just get header wrap for the turbo or the special kind made for the turbo which cost a lot...

found it in a sport compact car mag. They seem to know their stuff looks expensive though :( I would make a heat shield for you turbo. See those heatshields for like HKS turbos and stuff, it connects to the bolts on the turbo and goes of the turbine housing. I plan to make one of those some time.

Im gonna get the header wrap to wrap turbo, manifold, and downpipe. Im also gonna have a custom heat shield made. I want my egt's as low as possible for the boost I plan to run.
