For those with the vortec fmu how much did you pay? Is $150 a good price? That is what a local shop is charging. Should I buy it? I currently have the first gen cartec.

$150 is about the MSRP so its no deal but I dont see anyone selling them much cheaper, give or take $10.

Hell if it is a standard 12:1 FMU you are after, i have one just sitting around for 85$ brand new and never used. Only removed the AN fittings to accept a BARB. But opted for the 300$ SFMU unit instead.
