Yeah I just opened the box sweet Can't wait to get the msd installed I just want to know what to expect as far as wiring is it safe to mount it under the hood or is it best to mount it under the dash?

i mounted my programmable dis2 behind the centerconsole under the shifter cables where they go through the firewall. the programmable unit is a little smaller than the dis2, but it fits nicely there only thing is that it ticks, so you will hear it if you put it in the car. the tach adapter goes right in, at least it should plug right in. the wiring is very simple. remember though that the diagram in the dis2 manual states that the 3 wires on the coil pack are in different places. the center wire is +12, the one towards the front of the car is trigger1 and the one towards the back of the car is trigger2. the install is honestly quite easy. i ran my wiring harness through the power steering boot and it came out pretty clean.
