Well I finally got that damn TTI racing copper manifold gasket. It was kinda bent up and it looks like it's made crooked. I put it on the car and it was hard to get in but miraculously it fit. Is everyone elses copper manifold gaskets like that or do yours slip on?

Anyway I found out why my car sux now. I noticed about a month ago that it takes a while for the car to hit full boost. I noticed a little burned spot on my head also from a manifold leak. I too the whole turbo off today and check this out:
Erm is the turbine wheel suppose to be all white like this?

I had 4 major leaks, this sucka was blown! 5psi make gasket go kaboom! You can't really tell in the pick but the 3rd cylinder gasket blew and exhuast was spewed out of the top, that's why it's all black on top.

Hopefully you'll see a dump pipe that goes to the exhuast on this tommorow. Man this thing is heavy.


Well I recommend that you guys just installin turbo kits get a brand new manifold gasket from the dealer and TTI if you feel like waiting forever. Woohoo when I slap that new gasket on I'm gonna up that boost to 7psi then I'll really be a stage 2! ^_^ Hopefully I'll get the boost quicker too. So what do I torque the manifold bolts to? Is there a special order I gotta tighten them? I don't wanna foul this one up again.

Mine was a little bent when I got it too. I am installing it tomorrow so I'll let you know if it is hard to get it on also.

glad to see the gasket finally came :-)

My TTi came in perfect shape Actully its still sitting in the box!
Sell it for 40.00 bux shipped if any one needs one ;)

it's a pretty tight fit the gasket. I had to bend part of it to get it to line up perfectly but its still good. Too bad you can't see the little TTI Racing logo on it when you put the star manifold over it.

Arrhhghhh I cross threaded one of the manifold bolts. I hope it doesn't leak, stupid thing would thread in a little and then it'd get harder to thread in. Then it got harder and harder to turn. I think something got caught in the threads maybe. I forgot how much of a bitch that thing is to put back on. Now it's gonna be a bitch during the rebuild O_o. uhhhh oh yeah I cross threaded that bolt hehe...

PAIN IN THE ASS to install that gasket. It didn't line up well and one of my fucking bolts started to cross thread and won't go in the head now.

At least it's on there finally. And no you can't see the TTI tacing logo with my header on there, just the word Racing.
